Producer, singer and rapper Jessica Smyth (aka Biig Piig) began uploading her music to Soundcloud back in 2016, launching her career in 2017 with 'Vice City'.
Irish-raised, London-based artist Biig Piig has announced two dates at Dublin's Sound House venue - marking her first headline gigs here since 2019.
The musician will also play London's Hoxton Hall on November 3 and 4 before heading to Dublin on November 9 and 10.
"I'm so excited to announce my first headline shows since 2019 in London and Dublin this November!" Biig Piig wrote on her Instagram page. "Presale for tix to those shows go out on Wednesday next week, click the link in my bio to get first pick + new music coming next week… let’s gooo."
The West London-based rapper, singer and producer signed to RCA Records a few years ago and has since released The Sky Is Bleeding EP in 2021. It followed Big Fan of the Sesh, Vol. 1, A World Without Snooze, Vol. 2 and No Place for Patience, Vol. 3 (her first with a label).

In 2017 her single 'Vice City' caught the attention of digital music platform COLORS, who invited her to record a live video session of the song at their Berlin studios. This landed Biig Piig her big break.
Recently, the blistering single 'FUN' followed up on the producer's recent collaboration with fellow NiNE8 Collective member Lava La Rue’s single ‘Hi-Fidelity’. Infused with captivating electronic synth elements and a drum 'n' bass beat, Biig Piig's sultry, angelic vocals allows the stand out track to come to life with flair.
Speaking about her latest single, Jessica Smyth (aka Biig Piig) describes it as “about bickering with a partner, and being sick of it. ‘FUN’ is also about how you can bring out a childish part of each other when no one else really gets that part of you, the good and the bad. No one gets under your skin or pushes your buttons like the ones you love the most.”
She also collaborated with Blu DeTiger earlier this year, and had her 'FUN' track remixed by Yunè Pinku. Revisit our 2019 chat with Biig Biig at Electric Picnic here.
