Watch the Cork-born artist perform Big Thief's 'Masterpiece' below.
Biig Piig has covered songs by Beyoncé and Big Thief as part of a series of live performances for BBC Radio 1's Piano Sessions.
As well as performing the two covers, the acclaimed Irish artist also found time to play her own track 'American Beauty' from her recently released EP, The Sky is Falling.
Referring to Big Thief's lead vocalist Adrianne Lenker an "incredible lyricist", she covered 'Masterpiece' from the band's debut album, released in 2016.
"That record kind of got me through a lot," she said. "I only found it recently, like within the last year. When you attach yourself to a piece of music and you’re like ‘Right, it’s you and me now, we got this.'
"It’s where you just grab on to something for dear life and you’re like, 'Okay, as long as I can play this, everything’s going to be fine.'"
After taking on Beyoncé's 'Why Don’t You Love Me', Biig Piig (real name Jess Smyth), closed out her set with 'American Beauty'.

Jess was featured in our regular New Irish Songs to Hear This Week piece back in May for another one of her tunes, 'Remedy'.
Although she is yet to release her debut album, 2021 could be a massive year for the Irish singer.
