They will attend a special screening of Trainwreck next month.
A trio of Hollywood comic heavyweights are bound for Irish shores next month. As their new comedy Trainwreck hits cinemas, director Judd Apatow (40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up) and leads Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer) and Bill HaderSaturday Night Live) are confirmed to be attending a special screening in the capital.
Trainwreck is Apatow's fifth feature as director-producer, while the "train wreck" of the piece is a character penned and played by Schumer.
Amy is a magazine writer, who lives by that credo – enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment – but in actuality, she’s in a rut. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something.
The special screening takes place at 7.30pm on Friday August 14 at The Savoy Cinema, with the three walking the red carpet. You can be there too – tickets are €11 and on sale here.
The event is part of the Dublin International Film Festival, the 2016 dates of which have been confirmed to be February 18 – 28.
Check out the NSFW trailer. If you're not in work, obviously. Or if your bosses are cool. Oh, and don't watch it if you don't fancy an upwards shot of a topless John Cena grunting in bed this early in the morning.
