Billie Eilish's creative partner Finneas O’Connell was on hand for the laidback performance of 'Billie Bossa Nova'.
Billie Eilish has shared an ambient acoustic version of her Happier Than Ever track ‘Billie Bossa Nova’, which she performed live with brother and producer Finneas O’Connell.
Directed by Philip Andelman as part of a promotional campaign for Gucci, the video’s warm, sepia-tinged lighting matches the song's energy perfectly. O’Connell parallels Billie's relaxed vocals with gentle guitar noodling, giving a calm vibe to the song.
Take a look at the performance below:
Work on Eilish’s third album is officially underway, with O’Connell recently saying the pair were “really excited to start working on” their next slew of songs. Finneas confirmed the Grammy winning duo had “interesting skeletons” for songs written, but were “not sure what animals they are”.
Happier Than Ever landed back in July, spanning singles ‘My Future’, ‘Therefore I Am’, ‘Your Power’, ‘Lost Cause’, ‘NDA’, ‘Male Fantasy’ and the powerful title track.

Eilish and O’Connell will take the sophomore album on the road next year, having earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year and Song of the Year. They’ll be playing shows across North America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe - including a 3Arena Dublin gig.
Meanwhile, Eilish revealed last week that she was diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier in 2021. She also discussed her exposure to abusive pornography as a young child, saying it “destroyed [her] brain”.
In other news, Eilish recently appeared on an episode of Saturday Night Live, serving as both a musical guest and host. She performed ‘Male Fantasy’ and the title track from ‘Happier Than Ever’, as well as taking part in a host of sketches.
