Billie Eilish has announced the next single from her highly-anticipated album 'Happier Than Ever'.
Billie Eilish’s latest single ‘NDA’ is set to release this Friday (July 9), along with its music video. This will be the fifth single in the run up to the GRAMMY winner’s sophomore album Happier Than Ever, which will be available on July 30. Eilish announced the single’s release enthusiastically on her Instagram.
The single is a return to normal programming following last month’s incident, where a video was released showing a young Eilish mouthing a racial slur. The 19-year-old issued a statement on her social media graciously apologising for the hurt caused in the video.
‘NDA’ follows previous singles ‘My Future’, ‘Therefore I Am’, ‘Your Power’ and ‘Lost Cause’ – which Eilish has steadily released over the course of the past year. She has revealed little detail about the new video. Her previous video release was only last month, for her single ‘Lost Cause’. It was self-directed and the track was produced by her older brother FINNEAS.
Eilish recently told Rolling Stone that she hated the process of writing and recording her debut album, despite the fact it received numerous accolades. “I literally hated [the first album]. I remember thinking there’s no way I’m making another album after this. Absolutely not.” By contrast, Happier Than Ever is almost entirely self-made.

“No one has a say anymore. It’s literally me and Finneas and no one else,” Eilish says.
