Billie Eilish writes chart history - again.
Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy' hit the number 1 spot at Billboard's Alternative Songs Chart yesterday. After her song 'Buried A Friend' claimed the spot for two weeks back in May, she's now the third female solo artist to have multiple number 1s at the Alternative Songs Chart.
The singer is certainly in good company, as Alanis Morissette and Sinead O'Connor were the two other women to achieve that. At only 17 years old, Eilish is also the youngest of the three.
In 1990, Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O'Connor was the first female solo artist to make history on the Alternative Songs list, claiming the number 1 spot with her hits 'Nothing Compares 2 U' and later with 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.
Alanis Morissette even had three number 1 hits on the Alternative Songs Chart: 'You Oughta Know', 'Hand In My Pocket' and 'Ironic' all peaked in 1995 and 1996 respectively.

The youngster is set to perform at this year's Electric Picnic Festival, which takes place from August 30 to September 1.
