"All I have to be is just grateful that I happened to have a good group of people around me".
Billie Eilish has offered her reflections on Britney Spears' conservatorship case.
In an interview with Vogue Australia, Eilish described how she was shocked at Spears' current legal issues, and how she was grateful she's always had a supportive team by her side.
"It’s really, really horrible what a lot of young women have gone through, I mean, to this day," Eilish said.
"I didn’t have a team that wanted to fuck me over - which is really kind of rare, which (itself) is pretty fucked up," she added.
"All I have to be is just grateful that I happened to have a good group of people around me that didn’t want to just take advantage of me and do what people have done in the past."

Spears has been fighting to have her father Jamie Spears removed as co-conservator, and recently told the court she wants to "charge him for conservatorship abuse". She was also allowed to appoint her own legal counsel, Mathew Rosengart, after working with a court-appointed lawyer up until last week.
Over the weekend she also posted on Instagram, saying she has no plans to perform again while Jamie is involved in her conservatorship.
She also lashed out at her sister Jamie Lynn Spears for performing remixes of her music at an awards show, and said the conservatorship has killed her dreams.
The next hearing date for Spears' conservatorship case is September 29th.
