Billie Eilish has shared screenshots of her Apple Music playlists filled with the songs that inspired her acclaimed album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Billie Eilish has been sharing personal playlists of songs that influenced tracks from her debut album on Instagram.
Billie posted screenshots of various Apple Music playlists, each representing a different track from the record.
First up was the six-song “bad guy inspo”, which begins with Mac Miller and Anderson .Paaks’s ‘Dang!” and features the likes of JID (‘Never’), Smino (‘Amphetamine’) and Julia Michaels (‘Pink’).
The “I love you” collection has Phoebe Bridgers, Post Malone, Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens on it.
On “xanny inspo” is Feist‘s ‘So Sorry’, LCD Soundsystem‘s ‘New York I Love You, But You’re Bringing Me Down’, Post Malone‘s ‘Stay’ and more.

In the next post, Billie reveals that ‘Wish You Were Gay’ was inspired by songs from Anne-Marie, Carla Morrison and Jessie Reyez.
Bon Iver and Imogen Heap feature on the ‘When The Party’s Over’ playlist, with their respective tracks ‘715 – CRΣΣKS’ and ‘Hide And Seek’ making the cut.
“Listen before I go” only has two songs on it, ‘Smother’ by Daughter and ‘I don’t wanna do this anymore’ by XXXTENCTATION.
‘Bury A Friend’, meanwhile, has been influenced by Kanye West‘s ‘Black Skinhead’ and Tyler, The Creator‘s ‘Garbage’.
Billie Eilish previously had to delay her world tour due to the coronavirus. She is, however, set to perform live from her home for Elton John’s upcoming Coronavirus relief concert the iHeart Living Room Concert for America.
Earlier this month, Billie’s brother Finneas O’Connell revealed that the pair had started working on album two.
