The Cavan rapper has put his own bold spin on Jazzy’s hugely successful track.
Rising star Bless has returned with a new track ‘Devious Ways’ – which samples Jazzy’s Diamond status single ‘Giving Me’.
Having already scored serious airplay with his previous releases, Bless's ‘Devious Ways’ looks set to follow suit – opening with Jazzy’s familiar chorus before leading to a fiery bass drop, and featuring his owb captivatingly emotive lyrics.
"When I first heard Jazzy and Belters Only take over the country with that song, I knew that one day I'd have to sample it and make it my own," Bless comments. "I most definitely feel like we've done that and I just can't wait for our version to take over like theirs did."
Dublin artist Jazzy made waves on both sides of the Irish Sea with ‘Giving Me’ – scoring a nomination for International Song of the Year at the 2024 BRIT Awards, and reaching the Top 3 on the UK charts. The track also made her the first Irish female artist to go No.1 on the Irish Singles Chart in 14 years, as well as the first Irish woman to ever hit No.1 on the Spotify Ireland Top 50.
In an interview with Hot Press’s Riccardo Dwyer, Bless discussed his musical journey so far.

"Growing up, me and my brothers were super performative – I’d always try to be the centre of attention," he said. "I played instruments in church, and on the bus to basketball games, we’d freestyle and throw bars at each other. But it started when I got to college in Dublin.
"I was making songs with KB and started getting some attention. I came back to Cavan, and everyone was like, ‘Oh, you do music?’ Cavan is not for hip-hop at all, but now I can say that I’m the county’s greatest rapper."
