They join the likes of Bastille, Manic Street Preachers, Outkast and Queens Of The Stone Age at the unique Budapest music extravaganza in August.
US pop-punk titans Blink 182 are the latest big names to be added to this year's Sziget bill. Cee Lo Green and Jimmy Eat World will also play the eight-dayer, along with Casper, A Day To Remember and Fedde Le Grand. You can catch Blink headlining Day 1.
Taking place on the leafy Óbudaisziget – "The Island Of Freedom" – in the middle of the Danube, the Hungarian festival has long been a festival discerning Irish fans flock to for something a little different. With an ambience that has been described as "dreamlike", it combines peace and love vibes with fantastic organisation. Aside from the likes of music, there are countless exhibitions, theatre events... even a circus. The drink is cheap (get a szigetkartya for your boozy needs), there's a massive shopping centre nearby – a direct flight from Dublin to Budapest and you're there.
It all takes place August 11 – 18. For the full line-up, further details and tickets, head to [link]www.szigetfestival.com[/link].
