The band gave the Taylor Swift song a magical Blink-182 pop-punk twist.
Blink-182 covered Taylor Swift's 2012 hit ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ at a concert in Detroit, Michigan on Tuesday.
The multi-platinum, award-winning group are currently travelling across North America as part of their highly anticipated world tour. The band now once again features the original lineup of guitarist Tom DeLonge, bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker.
While performing the final song of the night 'Dammit', the band's first hit single, Hoppus moved in unpredictable Blink-182 fashion to the chorus of the 2012 hit ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’. The bassist channeled his inner Swiftie and paid tribute to the global pop star who is also currently on tour across the US.
A unique and unexpected rendition of the song, it showcased the band’s versatility, while adding a touch of their signature punk-rock edge to the catchy pop tune.

Last month, Blink-182 headlined the second weekend at Coachella, after being added to the line-up as a surprise performance. Their scheduled festival gig was announced just days before weekend one of the mega festival began.
The band’s appearance at Coachella was the first time the classic lineup of Hoppus, Barker and DeLonge had performed together in over nine years.
Blink-182’s North American reunion will continue for the rest of July. Following this, the band will be heading to the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, and South America.
The band will be performing in the 3Arena on September 5th.
