The Blue Angels: “Blow” (Dirt Records)
They were a reasonably fine band when they first emerged and ‘Blow’ a five track single of just over twenty minutes duration is a brave comeback after such a long silence. That distinctive light and fuzzy guitar sound is still the same, even if a stronger U2 influence is now apparent. ‘Wood’ is a bit dated but ‘Last Chance’, a delicate pop song, should win new fans.
