Blue Lab Beats, London's brightest up-and-coming production duo, follow hits ‘Never Doubt 'and ‘Wait A While’ with the release of a brand new double A single, ‘Take Time/Guava.’ The single’s first track, a TK, features Mercury nominated Kojey Radical and the soulful voice of Daley, while ‘Guava’ sees the sweltering collaboration of Kaidi, Poppy Daniels, Richie Seivwright and Camilla George.

“The energy and bounce grabbed me immediately, and I had such fun layering melodies, stacking harmonies and infusing some soul into the hook and adlibs,” Daley said. “Amazing to have Kojey on the track too, I admire him so much as an artist. Looking forward to working more with my Blue Lab boys.”

The double A single marks the first release from the jazz-production duo’s upcoming studio album Blue Eclipse, out April 19, with a sold-out launch party set for 18th April. In preparation for their three-show run in South Africa, the pair can be seen opening for The Silhouettes Project at London’s KOKO on March 18t.

“Whilst working on ‘Take Time,’ we wanted to capture the essence of our song ‘Hi There’ but with a more house arrangement,” the production two-piece explained. “We really wanted our brother Kojey Radical on the verse and, as we knew he would, he gives the track a real nice bounce. We then asked Daley to jump on the chorus and again he absolutely kills it with his sweet, smooth melodies over the beat. Daley and Kojey on the same track is just so soooo beautiful.”

Beginning their musical journey as bedroom producers, Blue Lab Beats quickly found themselves at the top of the ladder, remixing tracks for A-listers such as Dua Lipa, Rag’N’Bone Man and Thundercat. In just two years, the pair have emerged from their bedrooms and into the ears, minds and hearts of millions.
