The iconic festival returns this June with a star-studded line-up – featuring Metronomy, Róisín Murphy, King Kong Company, Princess Nokia, Kojaque, Marc Rebillet and more.
Back for its 11th edition this Summer Solstice, Body & Soul has revealed the first headline acts on its 2020 line-up at a special launch event at Lost Lane, Dublin this evening.
Before revealing the line-up at the listening party, the festival's organisers stressed a new approach for 2020 – "embracing change through a wiser perspective" while also returning their roots. As such, this year's Body & Soul promises to be a smaller and smarter festival – centred around the "little things that make a festival great."
However, a smaller festival by no means equates to a less impressive line-up. As well as acclaimed international acts like Metronomy, Princess Nokia, Marc Rebillet, Khruangbin and Sampa The Great, Body & Soul will also host performances from some of the country's most exciting emerging and established artists, including Róisín Murphy, King Kong Company, Kojaque, Kneecap, Mango X Mathman, Alex Gough, Aoife Nessa Frances, TPM, Jape, God Knows, Hare Squead, Thumper, Clockworks, ELM, Alex Gough, Aimée, Conchúr White, Kitt Philippa, Kynsy, PowPig, Denise Chaila and Somebody's Child.
