It's Bon Iver's first indoor Dublin gig in 8 years.
Our favourite folk genius will be back in Dublin soon! Bon Iver announced a 3Arena show as part of their European tour next year. Justin Vernon and band are set to play the Dublin venue on May 3, 2020.
This show will be their first indoor show in Dublin in some 8 years – when they finished up a world tour with a now-legendary sold-out show at the same venue, from where Vernon announced to the crowd a global hiatus, one that ended up lasting five years.
Support on Bon Iver's 3Arena show comes from Aaron Dessner's Big 37d03d Machine, who will develop and perform new music in collaboration with 37d03d friends. Aaron Dessner is best-known as one of the leading members of The National amongst other projects.
Tickets will be available on Friday the 13th of September at 9:00 AM BST. You can find ticket links to these shows at https://t.co/wcmezslKuG. There is a strict 4 ticket limit for each event. #icommai [2/2] pic.twitter.com/QBpa0EQZAE

The tour announcement comes after Bon Iver released their latest studio album i,i, praised by critics and fans alike. "Vernon's fourth album as Bon Iver ventures further down the rabbit hole of post-folk esoteric pop that has become his signature", Hot Press' Ed Power states, calling it "progressively more bonkers" than Vernon's previous records.
Tickets for Bon Iver's Dublin show cost €49.50 standing or €54.50 seated and will go on sale at 9am this Friday September 13. However, there will be an exclusive pre-sale on September 12 at 9am, launched by Selective Memory. Sign up to the Selective Memory mailing list to get early access to tickets.
