The new album will come out on April 11. The new single will be released this Friday, February 14 at 3pm.
Justin Vernon has announced that Bon Iver’s new album SABLE, fABLE will drop on April 11 via Jagjaguwar. To mark the beginning of the fABLE era, Bon Iver will release the single 'Everything Is Peaceful Love' this Friday, February 14.
The single will arrive alongside a music video shot and edited by filmmaker John Wilson, of HBO’s How To with John Wilson.
SABLE, fABLE is the project’s first album in six years since their 2019 album i,i. The 12-track project opens with the three songs from the EP SABLE, which was released in October. Including 'THINGS BEHIND THINGS BEHIND THINGS', 'S P E Y S I D E', and 'AWARDS SEASON'.
Additionally, the album will contain a collaboration with Haim frontwoman Danielle Haim, titled ‘If Only I Could Wait’.
Produced by Justin Vernon and Jim-E Stack, SABLE, fABLE was primarily recorded at Vernon’s April Base in Wisconsin.
Justin Vernon will speak more about SABLE, fABLE on February 21, in a wide-ranging conversation with Krista Tippett. Closing out the annual On Air Fest in Brooklyn, NY, the two will sit down to discuss music, healing and other central questions.
