The announcement follows an acclaimed initial run of Stories of Surrender shows.
Bono is set to bring his lauded Stories of Surrender show to New York's iconic Beacon Theatre for an eight-night run in Spring 2023 – kicking off proceedings on April 16.
The U2 frontman's announcement follows the phenomenal demand for Stories of Surrender, a remarkable show that enjoyed an initial run in venues across North America, Europe, the UK and Ireland this November, in support of his memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story.
Produced by Live Nation and directed by Willie Williams, Bono's show was described by Hot Press editor Niall Stokes as a "powerfully personal psychological, emotional and musical excavation", which ultimately "reached depths and attained heights that very few shows of its kind can ever even aspire to." Read his full live review here.
Bono will once again be joined by musicians Gemma Doherty (harp, keyboard, vocals) and Kate Ellis (cello, keyboard, vocals), as well as musical director Jacknife Lee for an evening of "words, music and some mischief..."
Tickets go on sale from Thursday, December 15, at 10am local time, and will be available here. All tickets purchased online will be delivered as secure mobile tickets. There will be a four-ticket limit per person.
