Bono was in Nice during terror attack
He was escorted to safety by police
On Bastille Day, 84 people in Nice were killed by terrorists with at least another 200 injured. Now, reports have confirmed that Bono was near the attack.
The U2 singer, who owns a home near Nice in Èze, was dining with the city's mayor at a restaurant next to the sight of the terror attack. The police took around a half hour after the attacks to evacuate the diners.
He was also in Paris during the November terror attacks. The band had been prepping for a concert, which was to be broadcasted on HBO.
