Welcome to a night of New Orleans Mardi Gras, where there’s a party in every room and good times never stop…
Hot Press is delighted to be teaming up with the good folk from Southern Comfort for Carnival Spirit, a night of Mardi Gras and Musical Voodoo taking place on February 25 in Lost Lane, off Grafton Street in Dublin.
Offering a real taste of The Big Easy in D2, the celebrations will be headlined on the Main Stage by Ireland's favourite New Orleans-inspired Booka Brass, plus a surprise special guest. The Main Stage will also host acclaimed alternative hip-hop duo Tebi Rex on the night, as well as DJ Marcus O'Laoire.
In the Singer's Room, meanwhile, you'll find the spellbinding Dr. Michael Mac Jr. on keys, Broken String Jones on guitar and the soulful Jess Kavanagh on vocals.
2FM DJ Tara Stewart will also be on hand in the Carousel Bar, alongside top Irish magician Jamie Skelton and juggler Professor Johnny Fling.
Throw in stilt walkers, fire performers, carnival dancers and drummers, a special New Orleans movie screening and complimentary smooth-drinking Southern Comfort cocktails on arrival, and you’re in for a devilishly good night!
