Bottle Rockets

‘Bottle Rockets’ is the first song on the latest EP from Galway experimental rock outfit It Was All A Bit Black & White, and it’s something that a lot of songs, not to mention instrumental songs, would love to be but aren’t; instantly memorable. Its great, juttering broken-riff intro plunders any other thoughts that might happen to be swimming around in your head and doesn’t give way until about half way through, only then succumbing to a melodic climax.
