In massive news for indie-rock fans, supergroup boygenius have announced a new EP titled The Rest.

The trio - Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker - took to social media to announce the upcoming EP, announcing pre-orders and teasing the track list.

Containing four songs, one of which is listed as 'Black Hole', the EP is set for release on Friday, October 13.

The upcoming project is also now available for pre-save on streaming platforms.

The Rest will also be available on limited edition yellow 10″ vinyl and CD – pre-order here.

boygenius are currently on tour, closing out their 2023 with stateside dates after stopping of in Europe for a number of dates.

Last night, the trio played Boston, and were joined on stage for their track 'salt in the wound' by Irish star, Hozier.

The Wicklow singer is also on tour across the United States with his new album Unreal Unearth.

The Rest comes after boygenius released their debut album The Record in March.
