Fancy a chance to win a signed and numbered photo of U2 taken by award-winning photographer Peter Rowan, who was the face of the U2 as a "boy"? Read on...
As a boy Peter famously appeared on the cover of U2's early albums 'Boy' and 'War', as well as a string of singles. For the last 20 odd years, he's worked as a Dublin-based commercial photographer and has a client list that includes the likes of Lexus, Channel 4, UFC, Element Pictures and Live Nation.
Back in 2010 Peter was invited by U2 to join them again, this time on the road where he shot a number of the shows of their epic 360 tour taking in Paris, Rome, London & Montreal along the way.
From those shows he's just produced a limited number of signed, stamped and numbered hand prints. These gorgeous prints have been strictly limited to 100 copies and are now available directly from his website www.peterrowen.com
But a number of these fantastic photos will be offered as special prizes at special U2 themed weekend at The Church Bar venue in Dublin this weekend.
This is sure to be another special experience as The Official U2 Fans Touring Group and DREAM OUT LOUD documentary will be filmed on site.
One of Europe’s leading U2 tribute bands U2BABY will also fly to Ireland to entertain the dedicated fans and those who were unlucky to get tickets to the real thing…
The action kicks off at The Church Thursday with the launch of their U2 PopUp Bar "Ultra Violet" named after U2 fan Alan Robins, who sadly passed away this year, aged 49. Hi favorite U2 song was "Ultraviolet." A fan made tribute video will be shown over the weekend to honor Alan.
The action kicks off at The Church on Friday 21 July at 10:30pm and Saturday 22 July at Midnight. Returning this year is the fan favorite U2 Theme Bar in the Church Cellar full of U2 from wall to ceiling and U2 music back to back.

The band will deliver an Innocence and Experience style show with some added surprises. A fully synchronized and impressive light show will also enhance the “U2” vibe for the performances.
