The brass band will bring their genre-spanning protest music to Cork, Dublin and Belfast this summer.
Following their sold out show in Dublin's Button Factory in February, Brass Against have announced a three-date Irish tour in June. The tour will features stops at Cork's Cyprus Avenue (June 7), Dublin's Voodoo Lounge (June 8) and Belfast's Empire (June 9).
The New York-based brass band have gained fans around the world with their unique protest songs and hip-hop anthems. The genre-defying collective take inspiration from an expansive list of artists, including Rage Against the Machine, Kendrick Lamar, Parliament-Funkadelic and Public Enemy.
In a statement, Brass Against commented on their unique sound:
“We want our music to not just sound inspiring; we want our music to resonate with people’s emotions and encourage action. We’re producing exceptional music with a political edge. We are angry, we are inspired, we are ready for change—and we hope our music amplifies this energy in everyone who listens.”
