Single or taken, this years Bray Comedy festival is where you need to be this Valentines day. This years stellar line up has been put together than Ireland's best known funny man Adam Burke and kicks off on February 14th with The Legends of Lounge; Steven Cummins and his ensemble featuring Totally Wired, Paul Marsh and Paul Currie. The festival runs from the 14th-18th and includes The Rubber Bandits who are playing Bray's Esplanade Hotel on Friday, Karl Spain's 'Load of Carp" at Bray's Sea Life and from BBC's Whose Line Is it Anyways, legendary Steve Frost with his "Comedy Improve" with special guest Dermot Whelan supported by Hardy Bucks' Owen Colgan (Buzz McDonnell) and Martin Maloney, (Eddie Durkan). Surely the best value date night going with tickets selling at €20 a pop.

The Comedy Festival all began in the much loved Harbour Bar four years ago and it's still the heart of the laughter for this year with host That's savage Ted! with Joe Rooney being joined by Pat McDonnell, John Colleary and Gar Murran on Friday 16th- this particular part of the festival is a hot runner as it's been a sell out for the past two years so be sure to book that night in advanced. Next up we have The Shoreline Club play host to Laughter Yoga which does exactly what it says on the tin and combines the trendy bendy exercise with lots of belly laughs on both Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th at noon, entry is €12.

Kids will also be accommodated for with Punch Lion Kids Comedy and Science Magic with Donal Vaughan i Bray's Town Hall, also a sell out for the past two years. Bray Bowl which is very popular with the little rugg-rats is also offering discounted off-peak rates for players quoting "Bray Comedy Festival".
