Brian Deady releases new four track EP

The Cork soul singer conceived his new EP from scratch the course of a weekend, releasing it on March 25.

There's little doubt that Brian Deady has one of the most seasoned soul voices in Ireland.

Following on from his 2018 album Black Diamond, Brian Deady has shared his latest EP, which was conceived, recorded and released over the course of a weekend in Spain.

Writing about his About Last Weekend, Deady said: "Last Friday [March 22] i set myself the challenge of writing & recording an EP from scratch with the intent of releasing on Monday. It really pushed me to get out of my own way and let creativity happen.

"Somehow i managed to pull it off. Written and recorded on my own (with my dog Lucas) in my cave house in the high desert plains of Southern Spain."

Featuring everything from sparse acapella to brooding synths and old school soul lyrics, the EP showcases what Deady can do with his unique voice and unique musical outlook.
