Singer-songwriter Brian Deady has started a heartwarming initiative: Sharing his new christmas single 'Come Home' on Facebook, he asked his followers to tag a person they want to come home for christmas. He'll then buy a plane ticket for the winner with the most compelling story.

The initiative fits the theme of the song as the ballad tells the story of someone trying to convince their loved one to come home. The track has a subtle christmas feeling to it which is underlined by an adorable video.

The new song was released four days before his headline gig at Whelan's on Saturday, November 30. Tickets for the show are still available.

Brian Deady previously released his latest EP, About Last Weekend, in March. The record was conceived, recorded and released over the course of a weekend in Spain and features everything from sparse acapella to brooding synths and old school soul lyrics.
