The West Belfast artist was set to perform at the Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey, Co Wexford this Friday, as well as venues across Cork, Monaghan and Limerick next month.
Brian Kennedy is "to step away from all gigs" due to health reason for the coming months following doctors' advice, his team announced.
The announcement, which was posted via Kennedy’s twitter, said that while "there’s nothing sinister going on," he would be taking time to focus on "elevating his health."
Hello all, with immediate effect following Doctors advice BK is stepping away from all gigs for the next couple of months to focus on elevating his health. Be assured there’s nothing sinister going on. He wants to thank everyone for your understanding and support.

On Kennedy's website, the tour dates are said "to be reconfirmed" at a later date.

In a Facebook post, the team said Kennedy was “determined to return to his old self."
"He wants to thank you all, the fans, so much for your unwavering support over the years and he's determined to return to his old self in time,” they said via Kennedy's social media.
