May was taken to Frimley Hospital in Surrey following the incident last week.
Queen guitarist Brian May has said he recently suffered a minor stroke, which left him unable to use his left arm.
The 77-year-old added that said he's now "OK ", having regained enough movement to be able play music.
"The good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last few days," he said in a video posted to his website earlier today.
"I say this because it was in some doubt because that little health hiccup that I mentioned happened about a week ago, and what they called it was a minor stroke. All of a sudden - out of the blue - I didn’t have any control over this arm. So it was a little scary, I have to say.
“I’m not allowed to go out - well, I’m not allowed to drive, not allowed to get on a plane, not allowed to raise the heart rate too high."

May added that he didn't publicise news of the stroke earlier because "I really don’t want sympathy".
"Please don't do that because it’ll clutter up my inbox and I hate that," he added.
The rock legend has previously been "very near death", after surviving a heart attack in 2020.
He had been recuperating from a torn muscle as a result of a gardening injury when he started to experience chest pains. that doctors later discovered three congested arteries, leaving May in danger of blocking the flow of blood to his heart.
