Grammy-nominated English musician Bonobo has shared details about his upcoming album.
Musician and DJ Bonobo (AKA Simon Green) has announced the release date of his seventh studio album, Fragments.
Out on January 14th next year; the new album will be released via Ninja Tune and will see a number of collaborations - including Jamila Woods, Kadhja Bonet, Joji, and Jordan Rakei. Previous album Migration was widely praised by fans and critics alike - earning top ten appearances in multiple countries as well as a Grammy nomination.
The 45-year-old got his start in his native Brighton, developing a cult following after the release of his first album Animal Magic. His downtempo electronica style takes influence from various genres - ranging from jazz to traditional Indian music; resulting in a uniquely eclectic and experimental sound.
In recent years he has seen an increase in mainstream popularity, winning Album of the Year at the 2017 Electronic Music Awards. He has since worked alongside a number of international artists, including Andreya Triana, Bajka, Erykah Badu, and Rhye.
