The pop superstar shared her feelings about her previous touring schedules on Instagram: "I will be honest and say life on the road is hard".
The newly liberated Britney Spears took to Instagram this week to reflect on her previous touring schedule, and she doesn't think she'll 'ever want to do it again'.
In an Instagram post that's no longer available, the pop superstar shared reflections on her past career including touring. According to Rolling Stone, she said she hated being on the road after her career took off.
"I know I’m not playing in huge arenas with my loud band anymore but I will be honest and say life on the road is hard," she said.
"My first three years in the biz and on the road were great but I’ll be completely honest and say that after those three tours and the pace I was going… I don’t think that I ever want to do it again !!! I hated it!!!"
Spears' last tour was in 2018, before her battle to free herself from the conservatorship she had been under since 2008, which was terminated by a Los Angeles court on November 12th this year. She had previously said she would not make a comeback while her father Jamie Spears was involved in her affairs.

In her Instagram posts since then, she has celebrated more of her newfound freedoms, such as being able to simply withdraw cash from an ATM. "I’m not embarrassed to share this... Well, maybe a little… but I’m more embarrassed for my family condoning the fact that I wasn’t allowed to have cash for so long when I worked my little ass off for them."
Since her explosive testimony in June this summer, Spears has been openly condemning her conservatorship after years of silence. She again took to Instagram on her 40th birthday to mocking the years of therapy that she was made undertake during conservatorship, describing it as "forced" and "against [her] will".
She also hit out at the state of California for "permitting my father to have me work as hard as he worked me all those years and never seeing a dime." Since she was released from her conservatorship, Spears has indicated she plans to use her platform to advocate for people "with real disabilities and real illnesses."
