The American singer-songwriter shared a video of himself and his late mother dancing in the garden together.
Bruce Springsteen's mother Adele - known to fans for often joining him on stage to dance - has passed away aged 98.
Adele Springsteen had been living with Alzheimer's disease for more than 10 years although her son said she recognised him up until 2021.
Paying tribute to his late mother, Bruce Springsteen uploaded a video on Instagram of the pair dancing in the garden to Glenn Miller's 'In the Mood'.
The US rocker said his mother passed away on Wednesday the 31st of January and quoted lyrics from his song 'The Wish', which he wrote dedicated to Adele Springsteen.
Quoting the song the caption read: "I remember in the morning mom hearing your alarm clock ring. I’d lie in bed and listen to you getting ready for work, the sound of your makeup case on the sink. And the ladies at the office all lipstick, perfume and rustling skirts, how proud and happy you always looked walking home from work".

Adele Springsteen was a legal secretary for many years and 'The Wish' makes reference to her career as an office worker. It is not clear what Adele's cause of death was however she was 98 years old at the time of passing, having been born on May 5 1925. It is known that she had suffered from Alzheimer's disease for many years.
In 2021, Bruce Springsteen told a Broadway audience the disease was taking its toll on Adele but that she still appeared to recognise him. "She can't speak. She can't stand. She can't feed herself," said Springsteen - according to US site Today.
"But when she sees me, there is always a smile. Still a smile. And there's still a kiss. And there's a sound which she makes when she sees me. It's just the sound but I know it means 'I love you'."
Adele Springsteen was known to fans of The Boss for joining her son for on stage to dance along to his song 'Dancing In The Dark'. She continued her on-stage cameos in later life, appearing during 'Twist And Shout' at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium in 2012 and most recently at age 90, in March 2016, during Ramrod at New York's Madison Square Garden.
