Tickets go on sale this Friday
Bruce Springsteen has announced his first tour with The E Street Band since 2017 – including shows at the RDS in Dublin on Friday, May 5 and Sunday, May 7, 2023.
The international tour will also take Springsteen across Europe – with additional cities and shows in the UK and Belgium to be announced at a later date. He'll kick off the tour with a string of to-be-announced US arena gigs.
“After six years, I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year," he says on his website. "And I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year — and beyond.”
He last reconnected with The E Street Band in December 2020, to perform on Saturday Night Live, where they launched live versions of two songs from Letter To You.
Last year, Springsteen shared his previously unreleased The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts film, collaborated with Barack Obama on the book Renegades: Born In The USA, and reprised his show Springsteen On Broadway in an effort to help reopen theatres in New York last summer.
The E Street Band includes Roy Bittan (piano, synthesizer); Nils Lofgren (guitar, vocals); Patti Scialfa (guitar, vocals); Garry Tallent (bass guitar); Stevie Van Zandt (guitar, vocals); and Max Weinberg (drums); with Soozie Tyrell (violin, guitar, vocals); Jake Clemons (saxophone); and Charlie Giordano (keyboards).
