Bit of a change in tack for the Missive crew – and it’s a good move by all accounts. The original is nowt to write home about, but go for the philmonsanto mix if you like it deep. A sparkling Detroit b-line meets delicate percussion and surging strings, before the unexpected and welcome drop in a ‘live’ bass and freestyle sax … mmm.
