Joining the Bulmers: Live line-up, Wallis Bird will perform Thursday, July 13th and The Undertones will perform Thursday, July 20th
Last month, it was announced that Wild Youth, Keywest, and Mark McCabe will perform at Bulmers Live at Leopardstown this June. Now, it's been announced that The Undertones and Wallis Bird are also joining the eight-day event's line-up.
Returning to Ireland, the Berlin-based Wallis Bird will be playing Leopardstown Thursday, July 13th. Since her 2007 debut collection Spoons, she's dropped six more albums, including the 2022 Mount Silver album Hands.
"I've heard from friends that Bulmers Live at Leopardstown is great fun to play," exclaims Wallis, excitedly. "So I've put together a really nice trio band: Leo Geisler on Bass and Paul Kenny on drums. We'll don our best hats and tunes - see you at the races!"
For fans of the Derry-forged, punk band The Undertones, they go onstage Thursday, July 20th. Known for hits like the 1978 single 'Teenage Kicks,' The Undertones is made up by John O'Neill, Damian O'Neill, Paul McLoone, Billy Doherty, and Michael Bradley and they've been tearing up the soundwaves together since 1976.
Bulmers: Live at Leopardstown will take place from just outside of Dublin on June 8th to August 24th over eight nights filled with racing, entertainment, and music. Known for amazing international and Irish acts, last year's band list included Razorlight, Gavin James, and Imelda May.
