Ahead of the November 9 release of his memoirs Decision Points, former President George W. Bush claimed in an interview on NBC News special 'Matt Lauer Reports' that will air November 8 that Kanye West's insult on a live NBC telethon to raise money for Hurricane Katrina relief in 2005 was the most "disgusting" and "worst" moment of his presidency.

West, in another of his live television oddities, said "George Bush doesn't care about black people" as a stunned Mike Myers looked on. Bush relates the incident in his book, saying "the suggestion that I was racist because of the response to Katrina represented an all time low."

This now is the second time a U.S. President has publicly criticised West, though usually with merit, after President Obama called him a "jackass" following West's interruption of Taylor Swift at last year's VMA Awards.

In other Kanye-related news, the rapper/producer has taken to releasing free tracks on his website every Friday, calling them his 'Good Friday' releases. The eleven tracks available for download include guest performances by RZA, Raekwon, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Kid Cudi, John Legend and Justin Bieber, among others.
