The bands will go head to head onstage to settle which band reigns supreme
The pop punk bands are teaming up once again, announcing a new joint tour scheduled for 2025.
During McFly’s celebratory 21st birthday show last night in London's O2 arena, Busted stormed onstage to break the news to their fans.
The UK and Ireland arena tour kicks off next autumn and includes two Irish dates. October 20, 2025 in 3Arena Dublin and October 21, 2025 SSE Arena Belfast. The bands will go head to head onstage to settle which band reigns supreme, "The whole tour is to find out who’s a better band. Fans can decide. They can come and support their band and they might change their mind", McFly admitted in a statement.
Sign-up for presale tickets is available here with sales starting on October 17 at 9am. General sale begins on Friday October 18. Tickets will be available on ticketmaster.ie with prices starting at €59.85.

The bands joined forces in 2013, forming the pop-punk super group McBusted, first touring together in 2014.
Speaking about the announcement, McFly said, "Busted gate-crashed our show last night (not cool), and challenged us to a VS tour next year. They’re old men now, and we are gonna blow them and their carers off the stage next year. We’ve had a great time celebrating our 21st birthday this week and next year is going to be even better - P.S Busted Suck. Busted defended themselves saying: There’s been a lot of talk recently…. This is where the talking ends….! We are ready to show who is the better band once and for all. McFly suck and Busted Rock!"
