Harris tells Hot Press why he didn't fancy working with the quirky American pop export.
Speaking to Hot Press, the electro-pop Scotsman, who has previously worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue and 'Bonkers' man Dizzee Rascal, reveals he didn't see anything special in Lady GaGa's track. "They sent me a song and I didn't like it" says Harris.
But Harris doesn't completely dismiss the Lady's talent as he says "I've heard her subsequent songs and it turns out she's quite good", even if that track "wasn't that great".
Although he doesn't reveal the name of the GaGa track that was sent to him at the beginning of 2008, he does confirm that it appears on her hugely successful debut album The Fame.

Despite Lady GaGa's breakthrough mainstream success, the singer maintains he has "no regrets", and is still just as picky about his choice of musical partner: "I wouldn't work with just anyone," he says, "I have to like the music".
