Tickets start from €12.50, plus booking fee, and are on sale now.
Cork-based rock cohort Cardinals today announce an intimate headline show at BelloBar, in Dublin's Portobello, for 14th November.
Tickets are priced at €12.50 plus booking fee, with a limited number of ‘cheap tickets’ available for just €6, including booking fee; they're on sale now via Singular Artists and Ticketmaster.
The news follows hot on the heels of their recently-released single 'Get It,' which channels tinges of surf-rock with Stokes-esque stylings. Speaking about the track, frontman Euan Manning says: “To me it's a song about reflection, looking at what went wrong but also at what went right. The worst and the best".
“Its climax crowns love as an overwhelmingly positive force, whichever type of love that may be. It’s a change of pace for us and definitely feels like a bridging moment for what’s to come next.”
From their gliding melodies to their gentle, composed lyricism, Cardinals have cemented themselves as one of the hottest rock exports in Ireland right now. Their songs traverse grainy, weather-beaten soundscapes "that hold both a gritty rock and roll nostalgia and the rolling hills of Ireland’s traditional musical past".

Since their recent signing to So Young Records, Cardinals have broken through the UK and Irish music scenes, as they join other mainstays of the "Green Wave" of promising young bands from Ireland. Their self-titled EP was recorded by Richie Kennedy (U2, The Murder Capital, Interpol) at Sonic Studios in Dublin, and released in early 2024 to critical acclaim. Its Pogues-leaning, shanty-esque verses swoon into room-filling chorus’, and often cloak dark and brooding tales of love in gentle first-person conversational narratives.
As their well on their way to even bigger stages, who knows how many more intimate gigs they'll play. With their dazzling raw energy, Cardinals are a band to experienced live and in the flesh, making their upcoming Bellobar gig one you wouldn't want to miss.
