This isn't the first time the singer has released a 'Side B'.
Carly Rae Jepson has surprised her fans by dropping Dedicated: Side B, the follow-up to 2019's Dedicated.
The project is make up of 12 songs, just a dozen of the hundreds of tracks that didn't make the LP's final cut.
Dedicated: Side B features writing credits from Jack Antonoff - the producer of Lorde and Lana Del Rey's forthcoming albums - as well as Ariel Rechtshaid, Dev Hynes and John Hill.
Writing the announcement on Twitter, Jepsen noted the “whispers” of Side B‘s upcoming release from fans.
“I hope it makes yah dance your pants off,” the post reads. “I owe yah one…or like two albums turns out. ;)”
This isn't the first time Jepsen has released a companion to one of her albums. The nine-song EP Emotion: Side B was released in 2016 following Emotion's success.
