Acclaimed singer-songwriter Cat Power has today announced a headline show for Dublin’s Vicar St on 16 March 2017.
Penning songs that are offbeat in narrative, but literate and emotionally revealing, Cat Power performs in a soulful, idiosyncratic style that reveals both strength and fragility. She was one of the most acclaimed singer/songwriters to emerge from the 1990s indie rock scene, a one of a kind artist unafraid to reveal her inner self in her music and follow her muse in a variety of different directions.
Starting off with the experimental music community of '90s New York City, Cat Power went on to release nine studio albums, her latest, Sun, being released in 2012.
Cat Power will perform at Vicar St on March 16. Tickets priced €30 go on sale this Friday 10th February at 9am through www.ticketmaster.ie & usual outlets nationwide.
