Catfish and the Bottlemen have announced two Irish dates along with details of an upcoming album.
Following the release of their latest single 'Longshot' earlier this month, Catfish and The Bottlemen have announced that their long-awaited third studio album titled The Balance will be released on Friday, April 26th.
In support of their new album, Van McCann, Johnny Bond, Robert ‘Bob’ Hall, and Benji Blakeway will play a tour of the UK/Ireland kicking off in Galway on April 28th. They will also play a date at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on April 30th. These dates will offer fans another chance to secure tickets after their arena shows across the UK and shows at The Olympia Theatre and Ulster Hall in Belfast for this month sold out soon after they went on sale.

In between festivals in 2018, the band retreated to record their upcoming album with Irish producer Jacknife Lee which was partly completed in Grouse Lodge in Moate. Speaking of living together as the album was put together lead singer McCann said, “We loved living in the same place. We were staying there the whole time, so we were waking up around each other and working until we needed to go to bed. Jacknife was always up. He was the first up and the last awake. It’s good when you’re completely engulfed in recording in a place like that, living together, because every day and all day it was about the songs. We had fun too; they were the funniest album sessions we’ve done.”
