Cat's Eyes
Faris Badwan's day off
Cat’s Eyes finds The Horrors’ Faris Badwan giving full expression to the subtle Motown influences that informed his band’s masterful second album, Primary Colours. A side-project formed in cahoots with operatically trained singer Rachel Zeffira, Cat’s Eyes channel iconic ’60 girl-groups such as the Shangri-Las, the Ronettes and the Crystals, whilst retaining The Horrors’ exhilarating garage-rock edge. Superb.
