Gault has featured on numerous successful tracks, including co-writing and performing Audien's 'Higher,' the 2019 hit 'Love Me Like You Used To with Kaskade, and the Top 10 Billboard Dance bop 'Parallel Lines' by Zookeper.
With her latest single, 'As Long As It’s You,' American rising pop artist Cecilia Gault is exploring extremes. Capital-P Pop sonics fuse with sharply accented percussion.
The track was produced by Richard Orofino, and exemplifies everything Cecilia is quickly becoming known for — atmospheric beats and melodic hooks juxtaposed with her captivating, tongue-in-cheek lyrics.
“The lyrics allude to passionate love and sex, being in love with someone so much they can do anything and it wouldn't matter, longing for love that you see in movies," Gault says.
Gault was born and raised in New York to Japanese and Irish parents, and the 21 year old diverse cultural traditions had a deep impact on her musical tastes and sense of artistry. Her bicultural upbringing is a defining feature of her identity and approach to music, which features both English and Japanese lyrics.
