Having announced the release date and title of the record, earlier this month, we've been counting down the days since then.

On a first listen, Chance has released an expansive and a eclectic record. Consisting of 22 tracks and lasting 78 minutes, it's a much more ambitious effort than his three mixtapes '10 Days', 'Acid Rap' and 'Coloring Book', but still manages at times to delve into the deeply personal and intimate.

It's been a life changing year for Chancelor Bennett. Along with marrying his longterm girlfriend Kirsten Corley, who is expecting their second child, the social activist and philanthropist worked as a 'nostalgia consultant' on the remake of The Lion King and donated $1,000,000 to mental health services in the USA, having previously donated the same amount to public schools in Chicago.

To date, he has only played one show in Ireland, where he was the opening act at Eminem's 2013 Slane Castle show. Since then, he cancelled two nights in The Helix in 2016 and pulled out of Longitude 2019....

Hopefully on the back of this record, we'll see him return to Irish shores in 2020.
