My Chemical Romance are back in full swing. The iconic emo band will play Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Tuesday, January 23.

The band went on a hiatus in March 2013. Rumours of a reunion circulated for years until the band officially announced their return on October 31. The show, at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium in December, sold out almost instantly as mass hysteria spread throughout their fan base.

MCR will play a string of tour dates this year, met with similar hysteria as fans around the world clamour to get tickets. Their arena dare in Milton Keynes, England, went on sale last Friday and similarly sold out in minutes, leading the band to announce a second date that also sold out.

The Dublin show will be their first trip back to Ireland since 2011. Fans can expect to hear songs from their entire catalogue, including Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade.
