Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) has unveiled his new track ‘In The Night’, the second release from the upcoming record Bando Stone & The World, billed as his final LP under the Childish Gambino moniker.

Featuring Jorja Smith and Amaarae, the single follows the release of ‘Lithonia’, which came fresh off the heels of his fifth studio album Atavista.

Bando Stone & The New World is set to serve as the soundtrack to a film of the same name – Glover released a trailer for it last month.

Available on the artist's YouTube channel and premiered at the 2024 BET Awards, the trailer stars Gambino as the famous musician Bando Stone, who finds himself alone in a world devoid of human life until he encounters a mother and her child.

The upcoming film will feature Jessica Allain and will be produced by Glover’s long time collaborator Hiro Murai.

Featured on ‘In The Night’, Amaarae just released Roses Are Red, Tears Are Blue, an expansion of her 2023 album Fountain Baby. Smith put out her second LP, Falling or Flying, last October.

In addition to the record and upcoming film, Glover will kick off his global tour on August 11 in Oklahoma City, with a closing show in Dublin’s 3Arena on December 5.
