2014 Hot Press Newcomers of the Year Children of Son have officially released their latest single 'Do You Really Want Me?’. The track is now available for purchase from iTunes and marks the first official release from the young brothers.

The Wicklow outfit recorded the single in Los Angeles with producer Warren Huart, best known for his work with Aerosmith and The Fray.

"I would describe them as Guns N’ Roses meets Nirvana meets U2,” said Huart of the Children of the Son in a recent interview. "I think it’s going to be phenomenal. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear kids do that kind of music. ... I grew up listening to records that were critically acclaimed masterpieces and sold a vast quantity of records. Not the only thing I listened to, but I like the home run mentality. I want to create something that is beautiful and timeless, or angry and timeless, or angst-ridden and timeless, whatever the emotion is, and also something you can relate to and that is successful. I want it all. I think with these guys, all of that is possible."
