A Lazarus Soul, Curtisy, Orla Gartland, NewDad, Niamh Regan, Róis, Silverbacks and SPRINTS will all be performing live on the night.
In the run-up to this year's Choice Music Prize live event – taking place in Vicar Street, Dublin, on Thursday, March 6 – the line-up of performers has been revealed.
Eight of the ten acts nominated for the prestigious Irish Album of the Year category are set to perform – including A Lazarus Soul, Curtisy, Orla Gartland (acoustic), NewDad, Niamh Regan, Róis, Silverbacks, and SPRINTS.
Due to touring commitments, Fontaines D.C. and KNEECAP will be unable to perform on the night.
The winning album will be announced at the event – which will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2FM in a special four-hour extended show with Beta Da Silva from 7-11pm. A special TV show will be broadcast on Thursday, March 13.
The winners of Irish Artist of the Year and Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year will also be revealed at the live event, while Irish Song of the Year will be announced by Tracy Clifford earlier that day.
