Artist and producer Christian Cohle has today released an acoustic version of his debut single 'Breathe'.

After the release of his debut album Holy Trouble earlier this year, Cohle drops something more removed from his usual electronic releases, giving us a beautiful acoustic twist of his first ever single release from 2020 with 'Breathe Reprise'.

'Breathe Reprise' offers us a window into seeing an alternate Cohle and really how diverse he is. Intimate, raw and stripped back, it offers a glimpse of what his second album may sound like.

"I have been finishing what will be my second album, which has more acoustic/organic elements than my debut album, so this I suppose happened in line with that," said Cohle, who's been named a Hot Press Hot for 2021 Irish Act.

"The reprise happened somewhat inadvertently, from playing around on my piano. Being an electronic musician it was an exercise for me to just release something that was raw and unpolished, it was pretty liberating."

One of the leading new names in electronic/alt music, Cohle released his debut album Holy Trouble at the start of 2021, with much acclaim from leading music bloggers such as Line of Best Fit, Earmilk and Euphoria as well as performing at Ireland Music Week 2020.

Awarded the MISP recording fund this year, for his highly anticipated sophomore album which is wrapping up its final productions, Cohle hopes to start teasing out his new album later this year.
