Delorentos release their first Christmas EP, which the band are calling a "lullaby for grownups".
New music is on its way from Delorentos. The Irish band are releasing their first Christmas EP, Be Here Christmas Time, in aid of Focus Ireland. The EP is to be released Friday 23 November. "A lullaby for grownups", as described by the band, you can't help but smile listening to the tracks.
Be Here Christmas Time features an original song from the group, as well as two covers to get you in the Christmas spirit. The Dublin-based band cover the Christmas classic 'Winter Song' originally by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson. Delorentos also take on 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)', a version which was originally sung by Darlene Love and released in 1963.
The title track and original Delorentos Christmas single Be Here Christmas Time celebrates togetherness at this wonderful time of year. The track hones in on the true meaning of Christmas; simply being with loved ones. As the band puts it, "not the obligatory family mash-up but time with your best pal, who gets you and accepts you and who you can chat with into the early hours, or sit with happily in complete silence."
